This all depends on what your exact score is and what specifically has brought it down. For example, if you have a low score because of charge-offs and collections, but you have paid all of your car loans and mortgage on time, then you might have a better chance of obtaining an approval. On the other side, if most of your credit is perfect, and you have only one bad auto loan, you could still be considered for a loan. Score is not the only factor. We have multiple lenders that work with bad credit financing scenarios to help get you approved.
There are many factors that go into buying a car with bad credit so every case is different. The applicant must have a job or provable income, and depending on the situation, down payment always helps. A co-signer is also a good option to assist in the approval process.

Yes. It is possible to buy a vehicle using an ITIN number and a valid passport. In addition, most lenders require two years of tax returns and two months of bank statements.
A cosigner can assist in the approval process by providing something that the initial applicant is insufficient. Some scenarios where a cosigner would be required are for purposes of additional income or a higher credit score. The cosigner shares equal responsibility in the payment of the loan and will be included on the vehicle’s title.
Although it depends on the lender, most cases require a minimum of $2500 a month gross (the amount made before taxes or anything else is deducted). If the income is insufficient for an approval, a cosigner can be used to secure the loan.
